|There's a fabulous piece of internet radio freeware for the Mac called Fstream. It's found on a French website, sourcemac.com. The English-translated address is http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://www.sourcemac.com/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dwww.sourcemac.com%26num%3D100%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dsafari%26rls%3Den
This software includes hundreds--maybe thousands--of internet radio stations. It includes everything on iTunes, everything on Shoutcast, and everything on Sourcemac.
I've never heard of Sourcemac so this could be a compilation of internet radio stations by the author(s).
Fstream works by either manually entering the URL of a stream or selecting a station from the any of the three catalogs mentioned above, accessed through the Stream Manager.
Listeners can also create their own individual catalog of stations, kind of like a playlist.
The source code of Fstream is also downloadable on the same site so I would think this is scriptable for controlling with SC.
It's a cool program and allows iTunes-quality internet radio without using as much computer processor as iTunes.
